“All of us at APRON are so honored to highlight our Independent Restaurant
Community. Throughout the years, and especially through the recent
craziness, they have come through for the Louisville community at large.
Their call to action to help charities and those in need is admirable… for example local restaurants sent hundreds of meals to the communities who suffered damage and loss from this year’s tornadoes and floods.
APRON, the non-profit that Serves Those Who Serve You, is proud that we
get to help the restaurant employees when they are in need- The Ten Taste
Salute is one of our largest fundraisers that keeps our mission going
strong. We hope to see everyone on Oct 9 for an evening of wonderful food and
drink, our exciting auction, and friendship- old and new.” Gary Fox, APRON Inc. President
We will begin the celebratory with a cocktail hour on the Café patio area, followed by a five-course “Taste Menu” prepared with Love by some of Louisville’s Local finest chefs. The Tastes will be paired with signature cocktails from talented mixologists representing a few of your favorite local restaurants. Throughout the dining experience, team Apron with the assistance of our honorary MC, Tim Laird will present an auction, a raffle, and guests will hear from some of the people we have been impacted throughout our eleven years of service.
The 10 Taste Salute will not only be a look back at where we have been, but a celebration of our commitment to the Independent Restaurant employees of Louisville leading into the future.

APRON Inc Is Grateful and Beyond - The virus and after-effects really put APRON to the test- we received an unprecedented number of applications and have paid out in the past three years close to $350,000 to more than 600 employees from over 180 restaurants! We are immensely proud of the help we were able to give back to our community; and are humbled beyond words at the immense Community, Corporate, and Foundation support we received throughout the past few years.
