Louisville, KY - - Sunday, July 14 from 1PM – 4PM join APRON Inc. celebrate and salute our local Independent Restaurants who serve you daily! The Taste of Independents, produced by Apron Inc., benefits employees in the independent service industry who find themselves in financial need through no fault of their own. Apron Inc. President, Gary Fox states, - “Apron Inc is so very proud to be a part of Louisville's Independent Restaurant scene, but with more and more restaurants opening every year the need for our services grows too. The Taste of Independents is a
wonderful fun way to help us while enjoying deliciousness from Louisville's best chefs. It's a perfect way to spend a summer Sunday afternoon.”
The Apron Inc. events are always highly anticipated since they involve some of our uber-talented culinary chefs! To whet your appetite, here are just a few of the participants: Volare, Equus/Jack’s Lounge, Anoosh Bistro and Martini Italian Bistro (Many more restaurants to come) plus specialty Cocktails by Ballotin Chocolate Whiskey, wonderful wines and craft beers will be in the house. The reason we do these food events; firstly, to raise funds and awareness for these programs, secondly, to show our appreciation to those who need these funds, and lastly to highlight the Louisville Independent Eateries which keeps Louisville as a must-visit Culinary City!

The mission of Apron, Inc. is to provide financial relief to professional food and beverage industry workers in the Louisville, KY metro area who work at locally owned establishments and are experiencing financial distress due to illness, injury or other issues. www.aproninc.org
