Chef Anoosh Shariat and wife, Paula Barmore, welcome you once again to their home for their intimate interactive Cooking and Dining with Friends series featuring all recipes from Anoosh’s newly launched cookbook, Eat Well, Love Life! This phrase – Eat Well, Love Life - is the guiding philosophy of Chef Anoosh. You will find it anywhere you find Anoosh and Paula. This mantra is embossed, embroidered, and printed on the restaurant door, menus, chef jackets, handwritten notes - and NOW it is the title of his new cookbook – Eat Well, Love Life!
"Every day we get to choose our Attitude, and I Choose to Live & Cook w/ Purpose & Joy. "~ Anoosh
Anoosh and Paula will share some secret Thanksgiving recipes, and 1 or 2 from the Book via the new way to dine online - a virtual LIVE dining series from their kitchen to yours! Every other week guests are invited to join in the fun of Cooking, Eating and Drinking with Chef Anoosh and Paula while you watch and learn from your own comfy quarters. Guests this week are Karen Morrison, CEO of Gilda’s Club Kentuckiana, and her partner in eating well and loving life.
“Community is stronger than cancer. There is no greater illustration of that than the lives and actions of Anoosh Shariat and Paula Barmore. Their willingness to share their own cancer journey, utilize their talents through Anoosh Bistro and Noosh Nosh to support families living with cancer, and, perhaps most important, model every day what LIVING life fully when cancer is a part of it looks like all serve to reinforce the philosophy that while cancer is not a choice, HOW you live with it is. Gilda’s Club would not be the vibrant, positive cancer support community it is where it not for people like Paula and Anoosh. They truly epitomize what Gilda’s Club is all about, and their generosity knows no bounds. They just keep giving and supporting in new and creative ways. The partnership we share is so valuable and impacts more lives than any of us will ever know.”
Karen Morrison, CEO Gilda’s Club Kentuckiana is grateful!
Part Two of this Act of Giving is the Book Signing Event at Noosh Nosh on November 14. Chef Anoosh is going back into battle with Cancer, assisting those fighting the fight which feeds his soul and gives him added strength! After meeting with Anoosh and getting your book autographed, make sure to order a pizza or more to go! Some Cancer Conquerors will be on hand too! The book signing will take place on the patio for safe social distancing. Book Price is $44.95 – 100% of Proceeds benefits Gilda’s Club!
Karen Morrison expresses more gratitude, “To support Gilda’s Night, Paula and Anoosh are designating the week of November 9 as Gilda’s Week—holding a series of events, donating a portion of restaurant profits, and ending with a Noosh Nosh patio book signing on the 14th, the proceeds of which will also support the families who give and receive cancer support at Gilda’s Club.”
