Jefferson County Master Gardener Association presents:

Lessons Learned Tour 2021

Fall Activities in the Garden”

Saturday, Sept. 18th 10am – 4pm, Cost - FREE!

Do gardeners wind down in the Fall? No way! Spend some time in these gardens and see what they have planned. There are vegetable gardens still in full swing, shrubs to plant,  tropical bulbs to be stored, and other fall chores to do.

The Campbell Garden has been designed to have blooms from early spring to late fall. A certified wildlife habitat, you will see sun & shade perennials, annuals, vegetables, roses, blueberries, & blackberries. Birds, bees, and butterflies enjoy the bounty!

The Westfall Garden is “Business in the front, Party in the back!” This gardener loves tropicals &      yard art and has fun with both. Through trial & error, she has learned how to overwinter them for years of enjoyment!

The Wheatley Garden has so much going on! Enjoy the outdoor  living/play areas, a young pear tree espalier “fence”, fall vegetables, and their future plans to continue reducing the amount of lawn.
