Vote Two Ways This Election Season
“I’m going to build a wall
around the hen house…
and I’m going to make
the foxes pay for it.”
First, arise and cast your vote come November 8th for qualified national and local candidates. This election is simply too important to sit out. Just like in many policy categories, there are seriously misguided food and agriculture proposals being tossed about with scary implications.
Next, put the #2 pencil down and cast a vote with your fork. In fact, in this election, you can cast a vote as many times as you wish.
✘Choose the local candidates at farmers markets who grow food with care and consideration.
✘Choose the local chef candidates who populate their menu with tasty seasonal local options.
✘Choose the food producers in grocery aisles who source their raw ingredients from credible sources.
✘Choose retailers who offer full disclosure telling you the source of their products, hopefully many being local.
Vote smart, vote often in this important lifetime election. Let’s make sure this one results in a landslide victory!
