Who's Your Local Hero

Recognize the hard work of people, organizations, and businesses who are championing farm fresh, locally-produced food and drink in Louisville and the Bluegrass region. Nominations are now open!

Local Hero Awards are given to those who offer high-quality, local products and maintain high standards in social and environmental practices, food sourcing, regional economic impact and a commitment to promoting a sustainable food system.

To Nominate:

Click on the Local Hero badge below to be taken to the online form. There you will enter the nominee's name and explain in 250 words or less why the nominee should be chosen as a Local Hero! One Hero will be chosen per category. The categories are:
