Ingredients
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 3 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 large garlic clove, minced
- 1 large shallot, minced
- Kosher salt and pepper
- 1 cup canola oil
- ½ cup olive oil
Preparation
Using an immersion blender, combine all but the oils. Drizzle oils slowly with blender on to emulsify. Add a tablespoon of water if consistency is too thick.
