Are you ready to pledge local this Holiday season? Edible wants to know how you are incorporating the "Eat Local for the Holidays Pledge." Share your story for a chance to win an exclusive edible Louisville & the Bluegrass reusable market tote made from recycled materials. Deadline is November 30th, 2017 and winners will be announced on Decmber 8th, 2017 right here on the website.

Submit stories here: edible Louisville & the Bluegrass Eat Local for the Holidays Challenge (you'll be taken to a Google form to complete). Thanks and Good Luck!

Sourcing your holiday meal from local farmers and businesses keeps your dollars in our region. Consider this: local businesses generate about 70% more local economic activity per square foot than big-box retail.

Purchasing a fresh, local turkey brings peace of mind because you can know how it was raised, plus you will be helping to preserve small-scale farming and support the local economy. Your taste buds will appreciate it too.

Take our “Eat Local for the Holidays Pledge” and include at least two (and hopefully more) locally grown items at your table for your holiday meals this year. Here are some great places to start.
