A Toast to Chocolate Day
A lot of chocolate, a little whiskey, a good cause and a lot of fun. The four come together October 28 for National Chocolate Day. Sponsored by Ballotin Chocolate Whiskey and Liquor Barn stores in Louisville and Lexington, the event will include tastings, demonstrations and education a variety of businesses: Ballotin Chocolate Whiskey, Bourbon Women, Cellar Door Chocolates, Chateau Bourbon B&B, Hi-Five Donuts, Old 502 Winery, Rabbit Hole Distillery, Steel City Pops and West Sixth Brewing.
Proceeds benefit Apron Inc., a nonprofit that provides financial relief to professional food and beverage industry workers in the Louisville metro area who work at locally owned establishments and are experiencing financial distress due to illness, injury or other issues. Donations to Apron Inc. will be accepted at both participating Liquor Barn locations.
