Ingredients

  • 1 cup Louismill Stone Ground Yellow Corn Smoked Country Grits
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated

Instructions

Bring water, milk and salt to a boil. Slowly whisk in grits. Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until it’s the consistency you desire. Add butter and cheese. Salt and pepper to taste.
